Automatic Levels do just that. They use a
compensator to adjust to level, within a range, making for quick and
accurate setups for contractors, engineers or architects. For an even
quicker setup, couple an AutoLevel with a domed head tripod. This
enables the user to simply move the instrument around on the tripod top
until the bubble vial is level and tighten it down. That's easy!

Topcon offers a wide range of automatic levels for the
land surveyor, civil engineer and contractors. All AT-G series levels
feature a magnetically-dampened compensator hung by four special mylar
ribbons having superior resistance to cold, heat and shock. They meet or
exceed our rigid waterproof/dustproof standards. The AT-G4 and AT-G6 have
been newly redesigned and are now available at even lower prices! The AT-G4 offers 26X magnification, and the AT-G6 is

Sokkia® SDL-30M Digital Level
This low cost, user-friendly
digital level is ideal for construction. Use it instead of a
traditional automatic level when doing site preparation work, road
cross-sections, or any leveling task requiring data storage for
further processing. Perfect for topographic work, too. The SDL30M is
now loaded with internal memory. Measured data can be recorded either
automatically or manually. Data storage capacity is 2000 points with
